Alexis Kargas

Alexis started her early childhood teaching experience over 10 years ago at St Anthony Elementary School in Downtown Long Beach. She then had the opportunity to work at both Long Beach City College CDC’s for a little over 5 years. During her time there she graduated with her AS-T in Early Childhood Education and gained many mentors that helped mold her into the educator she is today. 

Outside of her love of early childhood education, Alexis’ passions include music performance and education. She enjoys performing with the Long Beach Community Band as their timpanist and coaches’ percussion at Riverside Community College. She often spends time with her wife as active Disneyland Magic Key holders and frequent Disney Cruisers. They also love lounging around with their adorable dog, Lola. Alexis is honored to be going into her fifth year at Little Owl and to continue to build community through connections and relationships.
