Amanda Leone

Amanda has been working with children and parents in early childhood education for 15 years.

She began her career in education by opening an in-home preschool in order to provide her own children with stimulating and hands-on learning experiences. Prior to Little Owl Amanda taught in another private preschool in Long Beach. She is currently continuing her education in the field of child development and is planning to finish her education with a master’s degree in early childhood education.

Amanda enjoys spending her time away from Little Owl with her husband and 2 daughters. Amanda is an avid reader and gardener. She also enjoys knitting and crocheting.

In the classroom Amanda is passionate about early childhood literacy and helping to develop a love of books in children. She also enjoys helping children develop their sense of creativity through the process of art and dramatic play.

Amanda’s goal is to continue to learn and grow and to always see the world with the same sense of wonder as children.
