Julia Gondova Medeiros

Julia is originally from Slovakia and moved to the United States seven years ago. A few years ago, she realized that she is very passionate about working with children and so after working a successful career, she chose to change her life and pursue her passion. She truly believes children are capable, resilient and inquisitive humans that can flourish in a rich environment that nurtures them as it does at Little Owl. She has been very fortunate and happy to be a part of the Little Owl community that follows a Reggio Emilia philosophy, with which she is strongly aligned with.

She is currently enrolled at LBCC College and works towards completing her associate degree in Early Childhood Development. The more she learned, observed and practiced at different preschools, the more her passion for children has been fueled. Children unlock such joy and amazement within her heart. She feels fulfillment knowing that she can be a part of your growing child’s life and facilitate their growth, respect and curiosity for the world.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Pedro, and socializing with friends. She loves gardening, long walks in neighborhood parks and drinking espresso on their patio.
