Lara Alvarez 

Lara has taken on various childcare roles for over five years, including a preschool teacher, before/after-school care teacher, and a youth recreation leader role for the community. Lara received her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development from Cal State LA.

When it comes to teaching, she believes in building strong relationships between educators and families to better support their children in reaching their full potential and future successes. Lara strives to find lessons that come natural to children’s curiosity about the world.

When she is not in the classroom, she enjoys many hobbies such as hiking, camping, and rock climbing. She also loves to travel, dance, and spend time with her family and friends.
