Little Owl School is open from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Children must be 2 years 6 months through 5 years of age by September of the enrollment year. Little Owl School supports an anti-bias, humanistic education. We welcome families from all lifestyles: social, ethnic, religious, political, cultural, sexual, racial, economic, geographic, and philosophical. We actively resist and challenge bias and support social justice for the greater good. We are a state licensed facility through the California Department of Social Services.

PLEASE NOTE: Starting Fall of 2020, our core program will be from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. We will have extended hours available from 7:30 am-8:00 am/ 8:30 am (for Kinder) and 4:00 pm-5:00 pm. The extended hours will be limited enrollment. Half-day preschool hours will continue to be 8:00 am-12:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Kindergarten will remain 8:30 am-1:30 pm.

Tuition (Monthly) and Fee Schedule for 2019- 2020 School Year

*Full time schedule includes lunch and two snacks. A breakfast bar (hot or cold cereal, fruit and milk) is available for children arriving 7:00-7:50am

A limited amount of additional afternoon hours may be available depending on enrollment. If your Half Day child attends beyond her/his contracted hours with prior approval, a $7.50 per hour charge will be added.

Enrollment Procedure

Before submitting an application, at least one parent must attend a Parent Tour.

Enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year (September 2020) is full.

For September 2021 enrollment, your child must be 2.6 to 3.6 years old as of September 1, 2021. Therefore your child's birthdate must be between March 1, 2018 to February 28, 2019.

Parent Tours not available at this time. Please check back for updates.

*Parent Tour space is limited. If your child's birthdate does not fall within the birthdate range for a Parent Tour, you may not sign up for the tour.

Please note: We DO NOT use a waitlist. Your child must fall within the above birthdate ranges to attend the adjacent tour. All applicants, regardless of the date you toured, will be given equal consideration. Applications will be reviewed in January 2021 and all applicants will be notified of their Fall Enrollment Status February 2021.

Application Fee*

A $25 non-refundable Application Fee is due at the same time of application submission (check or cash only).

Annual Registration Fee*

A $75 per child non-refundable fee is due at registration and then annually for each year your child is enrolled. If your child(ren) are not attending our summer program, your registration fee is due in June to hold your September space.

Annual Materials Fee*

A materials fee of $250 will be assessed the first month your child attends, and then each September the child continues in the program. This covers the items for earthquake preparedness kits and part of the cost for the richness of materials used by all of the children in the arts program.

Sibling Enrollment Information

Upon enrollment of your first child, we offer sibling priority for subsequent children in your family to attend our program. It is imperative to note that siblings are given priority to join the school when they turn 2.6 prior to summer or fall start times. We cannot guarantee a space for siblings for our older 3 or 4 year old classrooms.

In addition, siblings are only given priority when the second child is enrolled within 15 months of the last day of the first child or both children are attending Little Owl at the same time.

For the second child and any additional children enrolled concurrently, a 20% reduction is available.
