Little Owl School partners with a local farm to offer an authentic farmers’ market experience for our school families. We have an amazing Farmers Market stand in front of our school, which we will fill with locally grown, seasonal fruits and vegetables. Also available are floral bouquets from local florist Margaret Rose, perfect for the hostess gift or a lovely addition to your home.

On the day of the Farmers Market, each participating child will shop at the Farmers Market with a teacher or parent volunteer. Your child will be escorted from their classroom to the Farmers Market space in our front courtyard. The shopping process happens during the school day. The children will shop for each item individually, inviting conversation about the produce. Please send a reusable shopping bag with your child’s name on it on the day of the market; the shopping bag will be ready at pickup.

We encourage families to have their child participate in the Farmers Market experience. It is so much fun!
