Guia Therese Gonzales

Guia earned her degree in Child Development and Education in 2017 and has been teaching ever since. She taught in the Philippines for two years before continuing her teaching journey in Singapore for four years. These experiences allowed her to learn from different teaching approaches, cultures, and communities – experiences and lessons that she will treasure forever.

In 2025, Guia moved to Long Beach, California, and began working at Little Owl. She believes that creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment is essential in supporting children’s growth and development. Through play, exploration, and everyday experiences, she hopes to encourage children’s curiosity and support them as they discover and make sense of the world around them.

Outside of teaching, Guia enjoys spending her time reading and playing pickleball and tennis. She also has a creative side and enjoys arts and crafts, embroidery, and drawing. She loves trying and learning new things and spending quality time with her family and friends.
