Olive San

Originally from Seattle, Washington, Olive moved to California about 9 years ago. Since relocating, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from California State University, Long Beach, and is currently in the process of completing her master’s degree in early childhood education at Pacific Oaks College.

Childcare, early education, and working with youth have been passions of Olive’s for as long as she can remember. She comes from a long line of educators, including her mother, two sisters, and both sets of grandparents, all of whom work in education. Olive credits them with sparking her love of working with children. She believes there is no greater honor than having the opportunity to play a role, even a small one, in a child’s growth, development, and early learning.

Outside of teaching, Olive enjoys spending time outdoors and playing with her rescue pup, Mabel. She is also an avid reader and has recently picked up pottery as a side hobby.

Olive is incredibly excited to begin her journey at Little Owl and looks forward to getting to know the families. She considers being part of the community an honor and a privilege.
