Eric began his career in early childhood education in 2011, while working at the Isabel Patterson Child Development Center at California State University, Long Beach. He worked there as a Student-Assistant for three years and as Program Teacher for two. There, Eric gained valuable skills and was influenced by many inspiring teachers. He is currently working on his bachelor’s degree in child development. Eric believes children are competent, active learners that learn best through play. Eric believes that every child is deserving of respect and that every child should be allowed to experience his or her full range emotions in order to learn to cope with their feelings. He enjoys supporting children as they discover and develop their unique interests.

Eric enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He likes hiking, dancing, visiting art museums, and doing cross fit.
